The products manufactured at S.M. Farmaceutici S.r.l. include large and small volume solutions for Infusion, Solutions for Peritoneal Dialysis, for Haemofiltration and Haemodiafiltration, Contrast Media, solutions for  Medical devices including Concentrated Solutions for Haemodialysis, Priming and Irrigation solutions, Sterile Solutions for Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy.

Thanks to our high production technology, high quality standard and process flexibility, we can offer to our Customers qualified services from the
production formulation phase to the industrialization of products, including validations of production process and analytical methods.

The annual production capacity is of 40 million unities in glass bottles and 4 million liters of solutions in bags.

The products dispensed in glass containers are processed with a completely automated line with a capacity of 9000 pieces per hour. The line is equipped with filling–stoppering–capping machine of new generation, two superheated water autoclaves for sterilization and an electronic machine for final inspection of the finished product.Thanks to the high flexibility of the line a wide range of primary containers and closure systems can be used :

The products dispensed in flexible containers are processed on a partially automated line with a filling capacity of 2.000 liters per hour, equipped with an air-steam autoclave for sterilization. Thanks to the high flexibility, a large range of primary containers and closure systems can be used, like PVC and PP, with or without overwrap, one or two tubes, from 50 ml to 5000 ml.
